Working Mechanism
Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcNPV) specifically targets Spodoptera exigua. When sprayed on crops and ingested by pests, the virus replicates within the insect body, rapidly spreading throughout all tissues. Infected pests stop feeding and become lethargic, eventually dying from tissue consumption. The virus continues to spread through body fluids and feces, creating long-term field control through natural transmission.

Application Guidelines
